This version represents the final output of the Conference, which was held in Sharm El-Sheikh under the title of "the rights of women between Shari’a and legislation - towards enhancing cooperation between religious and civil institutions," which includes the contributions of participants that have influenced the debate and revealed the divergence and convergence between religious institutions and civic institutions points, and even between visions of representing the same religious institutions. The reader will note that there is variation in the language and examples used at two levels:- intellectual backgrounds between representatives of the Egyptian religious institutions and Islamist feminists level.- between the various Arab countries vary in terms of intellectual and political contexts which in turn affected the Islamic intellectual heritage of these countries.This is indicated by the editor of the book Dr. Yusri Mustafa, an Egyptian researcher and member of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Human Rights Fund, through the prelude.The introduction of this book introduced the case of the Egyptian Foundation for Family Development, which fought individually for 4 years in order to discuss women's issues from a legal perspective and work with preachers and female preachers and imams of mosques to get to a middle zone between Shari’a and legislation at the level of people because the texts are consistent and impeccable, but the major problem lies for those who interpret the texts of the two sides as an experiment was done by the Executive Director of the Egyptian Foundation for Family Development Ms. Hala AbdulKader.The papers contained in the book has been divided into several sections, depending on the topics have this division was as follows: -Section I: women's rights from the perspective of Shari’a: Visions and assumptions1. religious discourse, the requirements of renewal and reform necessities Dr. Yusri Mustafa-Egyptian researcher and member of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Human Rights Fund2. receive information in a simple and understandable way.therefore, the
foundation issued this booklet in simple wording.Through
this step, the foundation works on educating the society regarding the
Constitution of 2014 in a simplistic way. The Egyptian Foundation for
Family Development decided to issue this booklet , which explain the
articles of the Constitution in a slang and simple language, accompanied
by cartoon drawings.

This publication is briefing on the project since its inception until its completion with a focus on the most important achievements made over the two years project life through a simplified display about the EFFD and CIDEAL , then it moves to the overall and specific objectives of the project then the most important activities that have been implemented and supported by photos and finally it displays the most important achievements made by the project at human and economic levels.
This Booklet monitors an experience of legal support centers in a number of those centers operating in supporting of women's rights through Krama's project on combating violence against women implemented by the EFFD.
This study came to assess the work of some of the legal support centers in Cairo and Alexandria and to determine the strengths and weaknesses of those centers and direct and indirect impact on reduction of violence against women in general and legal violence in particular.
Using Karama's unique approach to measure impact of violence against women on law; it is a vision to use more sophisticated methodology for dealing with the theory of violence and law.

This Guide is a result of Family House activity and it is implemented by the EFFD within the framework of the Project "Combating Domestic Violence".

This is the third Guide for couples who are about to get married, as two guides for couples who are about to get married were previously issued.
The first Guide: foundations of proper selection and ways to preserve family life.
The second Guide: intimate relationships from a social perspective.
The third Guide: we presented the third Guide under the title (legal rights for couples who are about to get married). It is a set of concepts, terminologies and legal information on family relationships starting from engagement through all the legal rights of spouses, ending with ways to get legal marital rights by both sides.
This Guide comes to complement our campaign to educate couples who are about to get married as we found, through training, that both parties are in a great need to know the legal rights towards each other; such legal rights are considered the light that illuminates their way when taking a marriage step.
