In the framework of cooperation between the Egyptian Foundation for family development and CARE Egypt, an inaugural Conference was held on 29 December 2015, on the project "Safe Cities Free of Violence Against Women and Girls", under the title of (Towards Legitimate Vision to Face Sexual Harassment). The conference brought together a large number of preachers of Al Azhar and addressed the following points:
In the framework of cooperation between the Egyptian Foundation for Family Development (EFFD)and KARAMA, a meeting was held on 24 December 2015 entitled (Legitimate Vision of Women Rights in the Constitution). The meeting brought together a number of preachers of Al Azhar and a number of female preachers who previously worked with the EFFD .

The Egyptian Foundation for Family Development held a campaign against female genital mutilation including a technical presentation and an open dialogue with the audience.
In the sponsored of the NGO alliance against female genital mutilation, and under the auspices of the qualitative Union against harmful practices against women and children, the Egyptian Foundation for Family Development held a campaign against female genital mutilation at the Swiss club at Imbaba headquarters.
In the second phase of the project “Bidayitna”, Egyptian Foundation for Family Development introduced new skill development programs based on the requests by its youth members. The new programs included technical refrigeration and air conditioning, networks and provide technical support services, handicrafts for women as well as ready-made garments industry symbols.
In the context of the global and local celebrations of Women's Day, which is celebrated in the month of March of each year, the Egyptian Foundation for Family Development (EFFD) organized, On March 23, 2015 in cooperation with Karama International association, a distinguished day to celebrate Egyptian women in a different manner through permanent pursuit of women's rights and gains, which are guaranteed by Sharia and law.
Within the framework of the second phase of the project “Our Start”, the Egyptian Foundation for Family Development organized its first four days training entitled "self-empowerment" to build youth / data capabilities”. The training was held from the 12th till 15th of January at the headquarters of the institution.
Within the activities of the project "Female Islamic Preacher - promoting women's rights through Sharia" and in cooperation with the organization of Kvinna till Kvinna, a two-day training was delivered to the second group of female Islamic Preacher on preacher's personal characteristics and the defects which may hinder the continuation of advocacy work.
Complementary to the training workshops delivered to female Islamic preachers within the activities of the Project (Female Islamic Preacher - promoting women's rights through Sharia), 6 workshops have been delivered to two groups of female Islamic preachers, where each group has received 3 two-day workshops on the following topics:
Islamic Feminism - Gender and International instruments - concept of Fatwa and its conditions.
